Spectacular Gem!
Epicentre of the Village.
Great grocery shop with all the essentials. Delightful manageress, Ellie!! Goat cheese salad and yummy flapjacks. ❤️
The Irish Ellie is super friendly, you can have a drink in front of the place and a light meal, we had the goat salad l, it was so good. Thanks for your hospitality Ellie
A little gem in the medieval village of Alet les Bains, after discovering the beauty of the Abbey and the many historical monuments in the village we were all hungry and were delighted to see the deliciousness that Ellie had to offer, my toasted cheese and tomato wrap washed down with a glass of the local white was much appreciated. Thank you Ellie, we will be back.
Wow, what a find. Ellie's Epicerie in the beautiful little medieval town of Alet-les Bains serves simple fresh food cooked daily, and her organic Epicerie stocks local produce, crafts, wine and a great range of beers. It helps that Ellie is also lovely and she speaks French and English. The terrace next to the ancient church is a lovely peaceful location to spend some hours. Thanks Google for leading us there! Afterwards we wandered the beautiful town and walked by the river. Magic! And only 40 minutes from Carcassonne.
Amazing little shop that has the things you need and the best Peruvian chocolate I ever tasted, extra creamy !!! I strongly recommend, can’t wait to come back and get more of it ☺️
What a wonderful find on a sunny spring afternoon, enjoying a delicious bottle of white wine amongst some french locals exchanging stories. Perfect for a day exploring an amazing settlement
