Spent a wonderful, unforgettable evening, eating an excellent meal with my family at Da Bouttau. The food was splendid and the serving personal as well. Took well care of us and treated us with interest and humor. Thank you!

Mon restaurant préféré à Cannes depuis plusieurs années. Le personnel est très chaleureux, la cuisine faite de produits frais, une carte qui change avec les saisons, un décor qui fait que l'on se sent " comme à la maison".
Un accueil exceptionel et chaleureux , un service au même niveau ,la côte de Boeuf grillée devant vous , la crêpe suzette flambée en live , un cadre raffiné ... bref , que du Top !!!!
Toujours un bon moment culinaire et humain.

Found this gem walking the streets of Cannes. Michelin Star for 5yrs in a row.
Had booked in advance just in case it was busy (which it wasn't) and the owner gave us best table in the house (inside).
The menu is not large, but what is large is the flavours and presentation.
We shared a several choices for starters and a main dish each (and sampled a little of each).
This place is really lovely and has been open since 1860, so a little heritage goes a long way.

got their course meal with appetizer and entree. and an entree and dessert to share
started with fish soup which was creamy and fishy in a good way. served with toast and rouille.
shared a duck and fish entree and ended with lemon meringue tart which was creamy and tart to end the meal.

I had the sea bream and it was fresh and cooked to perfection. My husband had the duck and the sauce was fantastic!
Found this place on a walking tour, apparently it was Picasso's favorite place. It has been around for quite some time and is a Michelin star restaurant (ooweee). Decided to try it for lunch. It's quite cute, tucked away in street. It has a small patio and an indoor seating area.
Had a bottle of wine, and tried their lunch special, which came with a starter and entree. My husband and I had the same entree, the duckling, it was amazing. Actually all of it was amazing. And it was worth every euro, including the wine.
Definitely a must try when in Cannes.
Nice restaurant in Le Suquet. I wanted some true French food and this place was recommended to me. Started with the foie gras which was a terrine and came with a buttery muffin shaped croissant thing or maybe it was brioche? Whatever, it was good. Also had the duck with ratatouille and a polenta stick. Service was also friendly
My wife and I visited this local restaurant tucked in the narrow streets of Cannes. The food, ambiance, and service were all excellent, and really provided us with a great example of how extraordinary French cuisine can be. We started with a new take on foie gras that was served with milk chocolate, freshly baked brioche, and a banana purée. My wife had the roast duck with purple potatoes and I had the braised lamb shank with hummus. Both dishes were delicious and perfectly cooked. We finished our meal with a homemade cream puff and chocolate waffle.
Based on our experience, I wouldn't be surprised if this location eventually receives a Michelin Star.
Excellent tiny restaurant on st antone. It has a wood stove built into it and carries excellent selection of open fire prep fish. Try their seafood pasta and bull abase soup is a must

Overall our lunch was very pleasant.
Apparently it is an oldest restaurant in Cannes. Quite romantic, with a cute outdoor sitting area.
We started with some Duck Pate & Salmon Gravlax .
Salmon was definitely one of the finest I have ever tasted.
Pate was pretty good as well.
For entree I had Duck leg confit & my husband had Coq au vin.
Both were ok. Not great but pretty tasty.
Bottle of wine made everything complete!
We did not stay for dessert, but I am sure it would have been great.
The best restaurant I ate during my short stay in Cannes. Just great food, staff and atmosphere. I was in Cannes for three days and this was the first place I ate. I should have gone back my last day. Great food.
After Yelp blindly directed us to two restaurants that are closed on Monday we finally threw caution to the wind and tried the nearby Da Bouttau, billed as the oldest restaurant in Cannes.
Lovely interior, great service (with English) and there's a video on a loop that assured us that this place has a serious kitchen with chefs wearing tall white hats.
The appetizer was a cold spaghetti and seafood salad, brilliant and refreshing. My date ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu and I had the chef's recommendation of sea breem.
Both dishes were fab, these folks are professionals. Great flavours and contrasts, nice wine pairing.
After a disappointing lunch in Aix yesterday, Da Bouttau was a delight.
Fabulous! Been going there for years but never did Yelp, love it! The (set) menu is well worth the money, the starter with the balls of goat cheese and arugula are delicious, and the fish (all) is wonderful. The owner is so nice and the service is great.
Oldest restaurant in Cannes. Really cozy space. We enjoyed our food a lot. Wanted to have bouillabaisse but it was outrageously expensive ($58 Euros per person min. 2 people). We opted for the more affordable $29 Euro three course menu and really loved it. The foie gras creme brulee was the true highlight for me. Oh and that tapenade. And their mustard rocked too.
Absolutely wonderful, delicious and enchanting for a long dinner while in Cannes. They have all of the fresh local delicacies and someone ordered for me, and I could not have been happier. One of the staples and old-time institutions on rue St. Antoine, I highly suggest trying the specials and enjoying your wine and meal and don't forget dessert, while street musicians serenade you with violins, accordions, and clarinets.
Great food (recommend the vote de boeuf for two), and good location. Staff were friendly too, tho we were lucky to get in without a reservation - they turned several others away
Séjour à Cannes sympathique durant lequel nous avons eu la chance de découvrir ce restaurant, dans la jolie rue du Suquet. L’accueil est chaleureux et familial, la nourriture est très bonne. Nous sommes venu le midi une première fois puis sommes revenu le soir pour tester leur grillade au feu de bois.

Chouette moment. Malgré la saison nous avons pu trouver une place et le resto n'était pas complet. Le service a été très professionnel et souriant. Bonne cuisine, sans prétention, quantité tout à fait suffisante. Suggestion du vin bien sympa. Joli cadre. Bref on recommande :-)
Super bon restaurant, l’accueil est top, la cuisine est succulente, le poulet cuit au feu de bois est juste divin, les crêpes Suzette préparées devant le client sont à tomber par terre. Allez y ne réfléchissez même pas :)
Très bonne cuisine , personnel sympathique et attentionné.
Hélas un point négatif : au début du repas on vous demande si vous voulez de l'au plate ou gazeuse , sans vous dire le prix. Au final l'eau plate en carafe est à 7€ même si vous n'avez rien bu. Dommage , ce restaurant serait classe sans cela.
Alors restaurant parfait 😍 gros coup de cœur pour cette institution fondé en 1860, des plats bien élaborés avec bocoup de style et de goût, hate d'y retourner ❤️ le service au top avec une proximité et un rapport comme si on était de la famille.
Breff, allez-y les yeux fermés, aucune déceptions.
Nous venons de Suisse et avons passé une belle dernière soirée à cet établissement ! Le menu du jour était excellent. Seul point négatif : une personne de notre groupe n’a pas dutout été satisfait des pâtes linguines. Tout le reste nous a entièrement satisfait.

Auberge typique provençal, excellent accueil nôtre repas c'est très bien passé de l'entrée au dessert que des produits frais et franchement c'est pas toujours le cas dans d'autres restaurants, nous y retournerons sans hésiter et je vous le conseille absolument vous ne serez pas déçu.

De nouveau sur Cannes et il était inconcevable de ne pas retourner au da bouttau, toujours aussi bien reçu par l'équipe en salle et la patronne, côté restauration un vrais délice que des produits frais mais attention à garder de la place pour les desserts vraiment délicieux avec des parfums très recherchés qui vous surpprendrons. Nous avons le conceillons absolument et pensez à réserver pour être en terrasse.
Repas très soigné sortant de l'ordinaire. Emplacement agréable dans une rue en pente du vieux Cannes, avec petite vue sur le port. Prix raisonnables. Seul hic : les carafes d'eau ne sont pas offertes.
Un lieu emblématique pour ma part … une cuisine de qualité +++

J'ai eu une super expérience à l'Auberge Provençale ! Le service était exceptionnel, le personnel était extrêmement accueillant et sympathique, et la nourriture était absolument délicieuse. De plus, l'ambiance chaleureuse et authentique de l'auberge a ajouté une touche supplémentaire. Je recommande vivement l'Auberge Provençale à tous les amateurs de cuisine française et méditerranéenne ! Merci à toute l'équipe pour cette expérience incroyable
