Le breakfast du dimanche est copieux et très bien garnis, les enfants ont tout simplement adorés pour un prix très abordable.

I eat only breakfast, omlette, but that is amazing, taste and huge amount.
Price is not the cheapest, but absolutely not expensive and unmanageable.

Eat here on arrival or before departure. Don't be struggling through the town or stopping on the way. You'll not be disappointed. Kids menus and plenty of choice, cooked to restaurant standards. You can ring in advance to ensure they are open and they speak English.
Finding a balance between the diverse food needs for customers in a transport hub like the Cherbourg ferry terminal cannot be easy. I managed to land during the period when they are going all out for the tourist buck.
Today I was pleasantly surprised by the changes I have witnessed. Apparently it's under new ownership since December last year and there has been significant investment in both place and staff.
The decor is upmarket cafe, the staff are dynamic and speak English and everything is clean and bright.
The menus are varied and reasonably priced with some really creative dishes on as dish of the day.
Today I had an amazing egg mayonnaise with yuzu pearls, watercress and tomatoes with a reduced balsamic dressing followed by a burger and crinckly chips both cooked to perfection. (Remember to ask for your burger well done if you are used to UK or Ireland burgers)
I am very impressed and will be eating here the next time I'm in Cherbourg.
One of the most pleasant experiences we have had in our time in France. New owners are welcoming and friendly, plus have an amazing Chef. The food was to an extremely high quality in taste and presentation, very reasonable price. Not what you would expect at a temeinal. Don't go past Le HUB, stop and try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed.
