The hotel was clean, inviting and easy to find. The guy behind the desk was very helpful and welcoming. It was an easy stay right next to the eurotunnel and the cite. The police store their vehicles in the back of the hotel and this made us feel very safe.
I've stayed here several times - it's ideal for an overnighter on the way through France, is five mins from the Eurotunnel terminal, and has plenty of parking. Rooms were clean, everything worked as expected, checkin/checkout was easy enough.
The restaurant is fine. Nothing exciting, but it serves food.
On the basis that nothing went wrong and that I had no problems, this is a solid five-star. It's not luxury, it's absolutely basic, but if that's what you're looking for, it's hard to beat on price and location.
