Our first really great meal on this trip to Provence. A beautiful setting outside of Gigondas. On our stop, we were seated in very well shaded patio. Kir for aperos, perfect. Amuse bouche was creative and excellent, never would have done that: a mouse of cold tuna and cream, with chopped red beets on top. Entrees were cantelope with jamon espagne. creatively done (whole circles of melon cut with a mandolin), and a green gazpacho Mains were a perfect: Maigre (a type of white Mediterranean fish), and a perfectly cooked filet of veal, juicy and flavorfull. Dessert, delicious sorbets and ice cream on a hot afternoon. Local Rose went well. all in all, excellent.

My family and I were spending 2 weeks in France in the Provence region. In our first week in France we went to Les Florets. Yes, it was a little hard to get to, but it was well worth it. First off, the atmosphere was very relaxing. Next to us, there was a fountain that the waiters and waitresses filled up the buckets that held the wine. It was covered in moss and looked beautiful. We were also covered by trees so it was shady. As we sat down they served us some olives and bread. For the Mise En Bouche (which means "happy mouth" in French), everyone got a sort of salmon soup that was really good. For my first course I got tomatoes 3 ways. It came out different than I thought, it was a soup rather than a platter, but it was still fabulous. My main course was duck with some vegetables. My brother asked for a bite-for-a-bite (something my family does), but I said no, because of how tender and delicious the duck was. Last, but not least was dessert. We all got this really, really good desert. No idea what it was, but it was the best dessert I have had in my 12 years on this earth. It had some chocolate in it and some kind of coffee pudding. Even my dad, whose least favorite thing on earth is coffee, loved it. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is in the immediate vicinity. It was amazing!

My wife and I chose this restaurant over the other well known restaurant in town (we only had time for one dinner in Gigondas). This restaurant was perfect in every way. The table itself (large), the comfortable chairs, the beautiful room and servers. They offered the menu in English and had an exceptional wine list. The menu will change so going into what we had specifically is not very useful, but I will say it was an insane dessert.

If you're traveling through Provence, you must pay a visit to Les Florets. First, the restaurant at Les Florets is wonderful. It's quintessential Provençal cuisine in the most magnificent setting overlooking the hills of Gigondas. My husband and I are both vegetarians so we let the restaurant know a week in advance and they were able to prepare the most wonderful meal for us. It didn't feel like our meal was comprised of meat dishes minus the meat but rather we were served a well thought out, balanced and delicious vegetarian meal. This was followed by the best cheese course EVER. Seriously amazing. Beyond the restaurant, Les Florets is the perfect French country hotel. It's a little more like a B&B than a hotel. It's a family run operation and with that comes a lot of charm. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the bathrooms are decent and the decor is adorably French country. They offer a ridiculously delicious breakfast everyday and warm, friendly service. I highly recommend looking into Les Florets and the town Gigondas if you're traveling through Provence!

It's a great family run hotel and restaurant. Everything we tried was the highest quality. For a special treat, let Thierry pick a good local wine for your meal. He is an expert. Fun, friendly people who care about your experience. We will go back when we are in this area again.
