The food was great and service impeccable. We had a super friendly waiter who worked previously at the Walt's in Disney world so that was nice. There are several different options as far as menus available and types of food based on dietary preference.
The setting is supposed to look like an old vintage restaurant with all of Walt's favourite foods. It's a great place for pictures and I assume the characters run through for certain meals.
This was some of the best food in the Disneyland Paris parks. It is more Americanize food, but based a lot on what Walt liked or he grew up with. I have an allergy to peppers, but really wanted to scallops with the polenta. The chef came to the table and he offered me other sides. We did get to talk about how he came to Orlando to help in the France pavilion in Epcot and worked during Food & Wine to represent Disneyland Paris. He was very nice and I was happy with my options.
I started with the Waldorf salad which had the perfect about of ingredients and dressing. It was full of flavor and fresh. When my scallops came out I found out they were able to make me fresh polenta without the pepper jack cheese. I was excited since it complemented the scallops perfectly. It was a delicious meal finished up with the lime meringue pie.
The restaurant has all types of photos of Walt while building Disneyland and during his life. There was themed rooms with lots of decor to match. The service was outstanding. It does not seem like a busy restaurant, but then people are missing out!
Food is definitely some of the best in the park. The theme is basically old time Disney, a little like Carthay Circle in Disneyland California Adventure.
Everything we had was great. We had the crab appetizer, which was not only stunning, but light and refreshing. I can also recommend the scallops and the lobster, both were excellent and worth a repeat.
I would put this on the "must try" list of restaurants for Disney Paris.
