Fantastic place. Friendly, very welcoming staff. Truly look after their guests. Perfect place to stay for a skiing holiday. The food at the Farmhouse is outstanding,from the combination of foods and flavours that go together perfectly, to final presentation. Highly recommend to anyone who is thinking about staying at the Farmhouse for a holiday or just a night out for a meal.
The Farmhouse is ancient and it's beautiful. Dorien has created one of the best small hotels in the world, with more hygge than a Danish log cabin. We gather in candlelit rooms around real fires, for really good food and an impeccable English-speaking welcome. Evenings are a chance to share the adventures of the day and get to meet fellow guests. Bedrooms are stylish and individual. It's got character. It's got charm. It's got many of us coming back again and again.
We got married in the summer and had our reception at the Farmhouse. I can not fault the whole experience - James, Dorian and the team were exceptional and could not have done any more to make our day perfect. You will not get this sort of experience in the UK - so many more personal touches and I never felt as though I was on the "assembly line" of weddings that some UK venues felt like. I highly recommend the farmhouse for a unique, special and unforgettable day. Thanks again to all of you at the farmhouse who went above and beyond. Fab boutique hotel, went in summer. Excellent views, close to main centre, great rooms and welcoming staff. Recommend. Very good venue for wedding parties!
