Our first meal in Nice so we went to the first place with decent reviews and within a block of our hotel and it was more than what we hoped for. My mother ordered the nicoise salad, while I got their suggested stuffed zucchini flowers with veal and cheese inside. Served with a marinara sauce it was delightful. The red sauce was fresh and simple to compliment the flavorful stuffed zucchini. The salad was large and filling with lots of toppings. They started the meal a complimentary glass of champagne and ended it with a shot of limoncello. They were also very kind to give us a chilled craft of tap water, sometimes difficult to find in European restaurants. The staff was very efficient, friendly and spoke clear English, even offering us an English menu. If we were staying in town longer I would go back again because the food was so excellent. To top it all off the price was right. Spending less that 30 euros for two people to eat full meals is a win in my book. Highly recommend.
This is a very good restaurant that isn't in Old Town but close enough. I went here with my sister without a reservation and they were full but said they have a table open for an hour before a reserved party arrives. One hour was plenty of time so I'm glad they were accommodating.
They serve complimentary champagne when you arrive which was so nice! I ordered basil chicken with pasta. It was delicious! The pasta was perfectly cooked and the chicken was so tender. The portion was huge and the prices are reasonable.
Our waiter was attentive and fast which was a pleasant service considering that other French restaurants have slow service.
The interior is nice but small - there was probably only about 20-25 seats. The tables have white tablecloth so it's somewhat fancy.
Overall, I would recommend this place IF you can't get to Old Town. My entree was delicious and the service was great. The menu was a bit small though and could have more options. Reservations are definitely recommended!
Lovely and cozy little restaurant in Nice that provides quality service, lovely atmosphere and quality food. When we first arrived it was packed and soon we learned why. Their food was flavorful and filling.
We started with the peppers in olive oil. Simple dish but so many places just get it wrong. Here, they use high quality and flavorful peppers. As much as the peppers pleasantly surprised us, the octopus salad blew us away! The octopus was fresh, juicy and packed with flavor that made our taste buds tingle. The beef and rabbit were also solid main meals.
Overall, I'd highly recommend this place for anyone in the area.
Overall, this was a very good restaurant. We started with the squash flower filled with veal and had the stuffed sardines, ravioli, linguine with rabbit and veal picata with linguine. All the dishes except for the ravioli were very good. The linguine was properly prepared and the rabbit was tender. I found the veal picata was sweet for me, but our dining partner really enjoyed it. The stuffed sardines were terrific. But as I mentioned, the ravioli was a major disappointment - it was very bland.
The soft chocolate cake was essentially a lava cake. It was moist and fantastic.
My sister and I went to this restaurant twice during our vacation in Nice, and it was excellent each time! They serve dinner with a free aperitif (a glass of champagne) so you know they're the real deal!
Very friendly service, authentic Niçoise dishes, in a cute hole in the wall setting. Highly recommend trying their homemade pastas!
We were greeted with complimentary champagne, which was very nice. The squash blossoms stuffed with veal was excellent. My cod filled sardines were huge and hearty though the sardines were very dry. The rabbit and linguine were excellent. Ravioli made fresh though a little flavorless. Soft chocolate cake was super. Small intimate venue with good service.

Merci.
