Man kan ikke tage til Val Thorens uden at få en burger på Johns American. Det er et must. Og deres steaks er også værd at prøve.
Meget hyggeligt sted med super betjening og så er portionerne så de kan mætte alle efter en hård dag på pisterne.

2x tijdens onze wintersport hier gegeten met een groep van 7 personen. Wel van tevoren reserveren want het is er heel erg klein, krap en smal. Verder wel heerlijk gegeten, echt amerikaanse grote borden vol voor een prima prijs in dit dorp. Lekkere drankjes en goede services, ook voor ieder wat wils en vegetarische opties. Zeker een keer eten als je in de buurt bent!

Our first night in Val Thorens, this place was just close to the hotel, and how lucky we are to stumble in.
We ordered the xxl burger, Jalapeno Poppers and a mix of wings and ribs. Both were excellent! The burger is one of the best I've had.
The portions were HUGE!
Service is very kind.
We'll definitely come back next time we're in Val Thorens.

36 euro en je kunt onbeperkt BBQ ribs en BBQ chicken wings, fries & salad eten.
Een lekkere en leuke ervaring! Het is er niet groot maar wel echt een aanradertje!

The staff here are very helpful and a credit to the restaurant. The restaurant itself is quite small but the food is very nice. Typical American style.food, big portions, burgers, fries, ribs and wings. All very tasty. The all you can eat ribs and wings deal is not for the faint hearted! Attempt only on an empty stomach to make the most of it. It is a little pricey for what it is but great food all the same and worth it.
Ik gok dat dit het kleinste restaurant in Val Thorens is en niet minder gezellig. Alles is functioneel en past allemaal net. Heerlijk gegeten, grote porties en vriendelijke bediening.
An amazing hidden gem, this place is small but the service and quality of food is huge! We had wings, ribs, nachos and a range of burgers including the John’s famous burger and all was outstanding. The staff were also very attentive always making sure everything is OK. The only criticism is there was one is that it is so popular and limited space, they turn the tables frequently throughout the evening, not bad enough to make you feel rushed but you can’t linger giving you opportunity to order more. Will definitely return.
Very good steak house with efficient (for FR I would even say "extremely efficient") service. We took ribeye steaks, good quality and correctly cooked (bleu). The waitress was really nice and caring, making sure we have enough beer in our glasses all the time (I regret being on a diet that day).
Green pepper sauces were a bit too sweet, but I guess it's the "american way", and in any case these steaks were good with salt only.
