I enjoyed the Filet de St. Pierre with "salsa". The salsa was tasty and sounded as if were to be of a mexican flavor, but it wasn't. However, it was quite good! The restaurant provides you of choices with your main dish (vegetables, pomme de terre: frites ou purée). Quite a variety of food at the brasserie located on Boulevard Victor Hugo with its neighborhood feel. Portions are nice and service is friendly.
There is a large terrace in front - plein air during the summer and covered and heated during the winter.
So, went with good friends who had heard about this establishment. A typically nice sidewalk cafe feel with friendly service and, frankly, huge portions (especially for France!). It's not fine dining....but great food and a great time.
Best (French) onion soup ever... Seriously. There is no dispute here. And if I thought I could have eaten it more than twice during my 5 night stay, I would've! (Tip: Order the French Onion Soup as the appetizer on their 'fixed' menu for 22 Euro, and you'll also get a large sized entree and a delicious dessert!)
