Fantastic food in relatively simple surroundings. Eric phoned us a few days before our booking, asked if we had any allergies, and otherwise if there was any food we did not like. After that we were in his hands for the evening.
He prepares the food with a passion, and is happy to discuss his methods as he works. He also serves the food and wine himself.
The guests are pretty much all interested in good food, which helps the athmosphere in the restaurant.
Very surprising that Michelin have not discovered him yet!
Intimate dinning experience with the chef, Eric, doing magic right in front of your eyes. The setting is like his own dining room with an "open concept" kitchen. Every little cooking gesture and every well-thought presentation is so satisfying for the feel-like-never-ending cuisine; dinner starts as appetizer of local veggies, raw sea scallop, pan-seared fish, scallop, and tenderloin steak all the way into fruit/dessert.
I only wish I had learned how to speak Fench to give Eric proper compliments.
