This is my favorite restaurant in Paris! We were in Paris for 10 days, so we definitely had our fill of overpriced, underwhelming brasseries and cafés. We even went to a couple of the super expensive restaurants with a famous chef behind it, but nothing came close to Kashmir House! We found this place on day 6 or 7 and it was so good that we had to come back our last night in Paris. The Kashmir Chicken is insanely delicious! The dal puts any other dal you've ever had to shame. The naan's incredible, the cauliflower and potato dish is crazy good, and the ice cream is the most interesting (in a good way) ice cream I've ever had. All of the staff are completely wonderful. The owner, or boss, is a fantastic human being! After eating there the first time we let him know how impressed we were with the food. I went online the next day to leave them a 5 star review. When we returned our final day, he let us know he saw our review and brought us out a couple of dishes that are not on their menu, and as expected, each dish was delicious. The best part was as we were leaving, he stopped us and gave us each a small chest from Kashmir to take back home with us. That was so thoughtful and kind! We will save our chests for the rest of our lives, always remembering the lovely owner and his superb restaurant. And any time we eat in Paris from now on, Kashmir House will be the first and last restaurant we eat at. Thank you so much for the experience and the food!
