I spent almost three months in Paris and in 80 days I ate at over 60 restaurants. From the three Michelin star rated L'arpege to hole in the wall noodle joints. Even after all of my research I came by Sola by accident. I walked by it on my way home one day when I changed routes. I did a little research and I made a reservation for two days later. I can say that it was hands down the best presentation I saw during my entire time in Paris. The dishes were inspired yet simple and they left you wanting nothing more. The icing on the cake for me was the sake pairing in place of the wine. I'd been in Paris two months and had done so many wine pairings, it was so refreshing (and also so well done) to have a sake pairing with my meal. I give Sola my highest praises. It is easily one of the best restaurants in Paris.
