We ate here on our last night in Paris, this is my 5th or 6th time to Europe and without a doubt, the meal we had at Comme Chai Toi was in the top 10 meals we've ever eaten. This place is unpretentious with a cozy & warm feel, without the typical tourist place looking to turn tables over quickly. This place seats about 40 people, there are 3 window tables that seat 2, 4 & 6 people and with an awesome view of Notre Dame across the street. Make sure to call ahead for reservations.
The service is excellent, the staff is outstanding and everyone speaks English. Warren was our server, he was awesome and explained how the owner hunts for many of the items on the menu. Unfortunately the signature dishes of Boar stew and Deer chop were not available, so we had the Pheasant breast stuffed with Fois Grois and wrapped with bacon, the Lamb and the steak. Each dish was done perfectly.
I can go into detail but bottom line, make sure to eat at Comme Chai Toi at least once and I guarantee you'll thank me later.
Fantastic food - had the best duck breast ever in a cozy down to earth place. Focus on the food - and great wine at a good price. Location is great also - view to Notre Dame
Everything was perfect, from the service and wine, to the view and -most importantly- the meal. You cannot go wrong by choosing this establishment.
